As announced by Yahoo! on their official blog, the free AppSpot app is now available at the Apple App Store and Google’s Andorid Market, which aims to help users can easily search for the right apps they really need.

On the other hand, the Yahoo App Search website is a search engine that serves the same purpose but is designed for PC which can be accessed through any Web browser.

“Today Yahoo! introduced not one, but two fun and fast ways that help you discover new and relevant mobile apps.” Yahoo Search and Marketplaces SVP Shashi Seth wrote on the blog spot.

“With 425,000-plus apps in the Apple App Store and 200,000 apps in Android Market, we know finding what you want can be exhausting.” Seth added, noting that users can now enjoy the apps they really want.

In addition, Yahoo! noted that both products offers app recommendations called “Daily Personal Picks” which will be based on what apps users have already purchased.

Nevertheless, Yahoo! searched-for app results also offers descriptions, prices, user ratings and even screenshots.
