Willow Smith launched her Whip My Hair music video on Monday on her own website, and was said to be very successful.

Willow Smith, the 9-year old daughter of Hollywood star Will Smith had released her first music video of her single Whip My Hair.

As the news spread so fast, the music video was reportedly to have enjoyed a sky-rocket of 600,000 views after less than 24 hours after its online release.

The Whip My Hair music video, which was directed by Ray Kay, was said to have shot in Los Angeles and had already gained a lot of praises including that from Justin Bieber.

“[O]h and a heads up…got to see a rough cut of my lil sis Willow Smith’s video for WHIP MY HAIR. It’s CRAZY!! She is killin em! GET READY!” Justin Bieber posted on his Twitter account:

Its success also prompted a parody made by Sesame Street casts yesterday, and has been gaining a lot of attention too.

The four-minute Whip My Hair music video now seems to be a big help in rising Willow Smith to fame, and news are saying that Will Smith’s 9-year old daughter is set to perform the song in front of a live audience on Ellen DeGeneres‘ talk show this coming November 2.

To many, it will not be surprising to see Willow Smith successful since her older brother Jaden Smith also did well in the 2010 remake of the film The Karate Kid, opposite Chinese superstar Jacky Chan.
