Westminster Dog Show 2012 Results: Doberman Pinscher Joins Best in Show with Working Group Win (Photo)

Before the announcement of the Best in Show for the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show 2012, Doberman Pincsher named Grand Champion Protocol’s Veni Vidi Vici won the Best of Working Dog in the group category, according to the published results at the official website of the annual dog show. The working dog winner will be among several other breeds that will compete for the Best in Show 2012 title on Tuesday night, February 14, 2012 at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

Suzy Lundy, Dick Lundy, Jocelyn Mullins and Kevin Mullins were enlisted as the owner of the four-year-old Doberman Pincsher Best in Show finalist.

Below is the complete result of the Best of Breed Working group category of the 2012 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

  • 1st place GCH Protocol’s Veni Vidi Vici (Doberman Pinscher)
  • 2nd place GCH Winfall Brookwood Styled Dream (Boxer)
  • 3rd place GCH Catanyas Latin Lover (Alaskan Malamute)
  • 4th place GCH Pepper Tree Zorro V Morgenwalda (Standard Schnauzer)

About 28 breeds of Working Dogs joined the group competition. Working dogs are reportedly fast learners, intelligent, capable and good companions.
