Emily the Irish Setter won Best in Sporting Group on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, in the on-going Westminster Dog Show 2012, being held at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

As announced at WestminsterKennelClub.org on Tuesday night, an Irish Setter named Emily, as shown here in the photo, won Best in Sporting Group, beating 29 other dog breed contestants.

According to the report, the second place went to a Pointer (German Wirehaired), owned by Claire Wisch and Kelly Wisch; while the third place went to English Springer Spaniel owned by Celie Florence, Beth Fink, Erin Kerfoot, Ken Goodhue-McWilliams and Dolores Stt.

On the other hand, the fourth place went to an Irish Water Spaniel owned by Tom Urban, Bethany Urban and Gregory Siner, with it breeders Colleen McDaniel and Stacy J Duncan.

Based on its description, Emily the Irish Setter was born on November 15, 2006 and owned by Debra S Burke and Nancy Lee Conner, with breeders Debbie Burke, Timothy Burke and Ellen Bieler.

Nevertheless, Guardian noted that the Irish Setter is a mother of 15, who have already won 50 Best in Shows and is aiming to win its first ever in Westminster Kennel Club dog show (WKC), which will be announced later that day.
