Weather Forecast 2010 of PAGASA on Christmas Day: Slight Rainshowers

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) has confirmed that there will be no weather disturbance or storm on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the day after the Christmas celebration. According to the latest PAGASA daily weather update on its website issued at 5:00 a.m., 24 December 2010, there will be a moderate to strong northeasterly wind that will affect the Luzon area.

The Northern part of LuzonĀ  will have mostly cloudy skies with light rains. The Southern part of Luzon and Eastern Visayas will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and some isolated thunderstroms. Other parts of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Luzon andĀ  Eastern Visayas will experience moderate to strong winds from the Northeast and East.
