For the latest Washington State election results, incumbent Senator Patty Murray is leading very slim over Dino Rossi in a quite slow arrival of election results.

As of November 3, 3:12pm US time, Democratic candidate Patty Murray has 722, 701 votes (50.48%) against 709, 024 votes (49.52%) for Republican senatorial candidate Dino Rossi, according to its SOS official website.

This resulted to only about 13,677 votes advantage for Senator Murray.

While other US states may have already had their election results final, the last day for county canvassing boards to certify results for Washington State is on November 23, 2010.

Meanwhile, the last day for the Office of the Secretary of State to certify General Election returns will be on December 2, 2010.

This slow-moving election system of Washington State was said to have been caused by vote-by-mail election.
