Walmart offers Christmas Price Guarantee, discount match for holiday shoppers (Video)

Walmart stores unveiled their latest price discount offer called Christmas Price Guarantee, a discount match for holiday shoppers, with the announcement video as shown below.

As noted by Walmart on its official website on Monday, October 24, 2011, the American retail store announced a match discount offer to their customers who will shop for the holidays.

“The greatest gift we can give our customers this holiday is great low prices on the things they want most,” Walmart U.S. Chief Merchandising Officer Duncan Mac Naughton was quoted on the press release.

Walmart is easing shopping stress this Christmas by allowing customers to shop when and how they want, all while guaranteeing low prices through the entire holiday season.” Naughton added.

“We’re confident Walmart will have fantastic prices on a wide assortment of gifts from electronics to toys, so customers can shop early and spend the holiday enjoying time with their families,” Naughton explained further.

According to Walmart, customers who will buy an eligible product at Walmart stores anytime between Nov. 1 and Dec. 25, and then finds that same product advertised for less at another store, the store will give them a gift card for the difference through Dec. 25, Christmas Day.

To apply for the Christmas Price Guarantee, customers are being required to bring along with them their original Walmart cash register receipt and the local competitor’s current printed ad to Walmart’s Customer Service desk through Dec. 25.

Once validated, Walmart store will issue a gift card for the difference, in which the items placed on Christmas Layaway such as toys, jewelries, and electronic also included for the Christmas Price Guarantee.
