As reported at CNN on Thursday, May 5, Wal-Mart is the No. 1 in the list of Fortune 500 America’s largest corporations, with Exxon Mobil landing as second.

Apparently Wal-Mart still landed on the first spot despite being noted to have had low sales in the US for the last seven quarters, although it had gains in worldwide profit and revenues.

On the other hand, Exxon Mobil being America’s largest oil company was said to have the highest profit among the top Fortune 500 list, which also ranked second in last year’s list.

According to CNN, Exxon Mobil made a whooping $35.6 billion in profit as worldwide oil prices soared high recently, which recently launched a massive joint venture in Qatar.
