All six cabs of the Via Rail got derailed and crashed into a small trackside building. Below is a Youtube video of the derailed Via Rail Train.

In a statement, Via chief operating officer John Marginson offered condolences to the affected families. Below is Marginson’s statement.

There’s no question it’s very tragic. We’re a relatively small company, we’re a family, we know everyone by name. We certainly feel for the families of the colleagues that we lost.
