Undas 2010: Manila Traffic Rerouting Scheme Advisory for All Saints Day

If you are bound for Manila South Cemetery, Makati Public Cemetery, and Makati Catholic Cemetery, you can read Undas 2010: Makati announces traffic rerouting scheme for All Saints Day.

In line with the upcoming Undas 2010, the Manila government through the Manila Police District Traffic Enforcement Unit (MPD-TEU) issued a news release containing the traffic advisory and rerouting scheme for All Saints Day.

As of 12 noon, from October 31 to November 1, the following streets and will their entire stretch will be closed.

Aurora Blvd. from Dimasalang to Rizal Avenue

Blumentritt from A. Bonifacio to P. Guevarra

Dimasalang from Makiling to Blumerntritt.

Retiro from Dimasalang to Blumentritt Ext.

P. Guevarra from Cavite to Pampanga

Leonor Rivera from Cavite to Aurora Boulevard

Meanwhile, the streets and their entire stretch which are available for parking areas includes Craig, Sulu, Simon, Oroquieta, Felix Huertas, Metrica and other peripheries that are not included in rerouting scheme.

For Public Utility Jeepneys (PUJ) that are bound for North Cemetery, the rerouting will be as follows:

PUJ coming from Rizal Ave./Blumentritt shall take Cavite right L. Rivera or Isagani right Antipolo to point of destination.

PUJ coming from Retiro St. (from Q.C.) left Blumentritt, left Makiling to point of destination. (Loading and Unloading before Retiro/Blumentritt)

PUJ coming from Dimasalang right Makiling right Maceda to point of desitination. (Loading and Unloading after Maceda/Makiling)

On the other hand, no parking will be allowed, (or Tow Away Zones) for the following roads:

Retiro – Blumentritt and from Aurora/Blumentritt to Bonifacio Ave. up to Laon-Laan, Dimasalang from North Cemetery gate to Makiling.

Laon-Laan (Bulaklakan) – Dos Castillas, Don Quijote and Ma. Clara, Carola, Aragon, as well as other streets included in the rerouting scheme

Note: Left side parallel parking only.
