Typhoon Ruby Update: Storm Signals Up in Several Areas

Bagyong Ruby (Typhoon International Codename: Hagupit) has slightly weakened according to the latest weather forecast issued by PAGASA on Saturday, December 6, 2014.

As of 9 a.m. today, the eye of Typhoon Ruby was located based on all available data at 200 km East Northeast of Borongan, Eastern Samar.

PAGASA weather forecast indicated that:

Eastern and Central Visayas, Bicol Region and the provinces of Dinagat, Quezon, Romblon and Marinduque will experience stormy weather while the Western Visayas, rest of Caraga and the province of Camiguin will have rains with gusty winds with rough to very rough seas. The regions of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos will be cloudy with light rains. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over the rest of Luzon and of Visayas and coming from the north to northwest over the rest of Mindanao with moderate to rough seas.
