A two-headed snake is now on display at a Ukraine zoo, according to reports by several international news sites on Wednesday, July 13, 2011.

The two-headed snake, an albino California Kingsnake, reportedly think, react and eat separately. The head of the “Skazka” (Fairy tale) zoo, in the Crimean city of Yalta, Ukraine, confirmed that the two heads compete with each other. A barrier is being placed in between the heads when they are fed to avoid one head from eating the food of the other.

The Ukraine zoo explained that the two-headed snake is extremely rare and usually occurs once in 50 or more years.

The rare two head snake will be only be shown to the public until the middle of September.
