“Twilight Saga: Eclipse” and “Glee” lead 2011 Teen Choice Awards nominees

The movie “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” and TV show “Glee” led the 2011 Teen Choice Awards nominations, and fans are now being invited to vote for their idols.

As announced at Teen Choice Awards official website on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, there are 66 different awards to be won through by fan votes which started that day.

The movie “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” has 12 nominations including “Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy” for both Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner and “Choice Movie Actress: Sci-Fi/Fantasy” for Kristen Stewart.

On the other hand, TV show “Glee” has six nominations, which was followed by “The Vampire Diaries” with seven, and for individual artists, Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift have six nominations each.

Other music artists with numerous nominations are Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, The Black Eyed Peas and Katy Perry.

The 2011 Teen Choice Awards will be held at Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles and will be aired live on Sunday, August 7, 2011, 8 p.m (EST) on Fox.

Later, Kaley Cuoco was chosen to be the show host, while Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were said to among the attendees.
