Toyota Recall: Toyota Motor Corp. Recalls 145,000 Corolla Cars In Brazil Due To Fuel Leaks

Toyota Motor Corp. reportedly issued a new recall list on its Toyota Corolla cars which was manufactured and sold only in Brazil. The vehicles affected was said to have run on ethanol, as well as gasoline and was called flexible fuel vehicles.

According to Forbes, about 145,000 Toyota Corolla cars in Brazil were recalled to fix the fuel hose, tank and pump parts of the Corolla compact which was said to have manufactured between March 2008 and December 2010.

No vehicular incidents related to the latest recall which was issued on Tuesday has been reported. Just recently, Toyota also issued a recall to over two million vehicles in the United States to fix accelerator pedals which was feared that could be trapped in floor mats or jammed in driver’s side carpeting.
