As noted at entertainment news sites that day, Columbia Pictures unleashed the Total Recall 2012 movie full trailer via Apple iTunes, just days after the 30-second teaser was released, which now stars Colin Farrell.

Apparently, Farrell is reviving the character of Douglas Quaid, a simple factory worker who is experiencing strange dreams and was unaware of what is happening to him, as nation states Euromerica and New Shanghai vie for supremacy.

“If I’m not me, then who the hell am I?” Farrell said on the last part of the movie trailer, with Kate Beckinsale to reprise the role of Lori Quaid, Douglas‘ wife, which was earlier portrayed by Sharon Stone.

On the other hand, Jessica Biel will play Melina, a beautiful brunette who became the partner of Quaid in his fight against Vilos Cohaagen, President of Euroamerica, to be played by Bryan Cranston; with John Cho, Bokeem Woodbine and Bill Nighy also joining the cast.

Both Total Recall films are based on Philip K. Dick‘s short story “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale”, with the 2012 version directed by Len Wiseman and will be shown in the United States and Canada on August 3, 2012.
