Tony Parker signs multi-year contract extension with Spurs

According to Tony Parker‘s Official website, a new multi-year extension deal with the San Antonio Spurs worth $5o million, was finally signed by the star point guard. Parker thus, ended all speculations that he will be leaving the Spurs. The new contract between the Spurs and Parker has preserved the core of the San Antonio team.

There had been some speculations during the off-season that the 28-year-old Parker will end his stay in San Antonio after the NBA 2010-11 season. The All star point guard is in his 10th season as a Spurs player. He is part of the Spurs own version of the Big Three which includes:  Tim Duncan, and Manu Ginobili. Parker joined the NBA when he was 19 and has won three NBA titles with the Spurs. The Frenchman has a career average of 16.6 points and 5.7 assists.
