As announced at the singer’s official website on Sunday, the Tom Jones concert was canceled and the legendary singer was extremely disappointed as well as the people connected with the tour.

Sir Tom was ordered by doctors not to perform in Monte Carlo yesterday evening, due to severe dehydration.” A statement was written at TomJones.com.

“There are NO heart problems, as has been reported in the press.” The statement added, noting that the canceled concert was the last stop for his successful 3 month tour for his “Praise & Blame” album.

Apparently, the Tom Jones concert tour locations were noted to be in the height of the summer heat as the “Delilah” singer thanked everyone for their understanding and support.

Jones, 71, a native of Wales, UK, who rose to international fame in 1964 via his “It’s Not Unusual” song, was reportedly brought to Princess Grace Hospital that night but was well on Sunday.

The “Green, Green Grass of Hope” singer noted that he hopes to see the fans in Monte Carlo again soon, but there was no confirmation as to when he will be released from the said hospital.
