Tiger Woods lost against Graeme McDowell at Chevron playoff, and has never won since 2009, according to international sports news sites on Sunday.

According to reports, US Open champion Graeme McDowell beat Tiger Woods during the first playoff of Chevron World Challenge, making the latter without a single win for more than a year.

The now world’s number two golfer gave up a four-shot overnight lead at the third round on Saturday.

Woods, who last won in the 2009 Australian Open, will be ending 2010 with his first longest time as a professional golfer without a win, while McDowell won his fourth title in the season.

“I fought hard today … it was close, we had a good battle again – I felt right, I was right there,” Tiger Woods told the news.

Meanwhile, Graeme McDowell apparently made a great comeback after holing in a 20-foot birdie and later made another birdie putt from a little longer away for the final win against Tiger Woods.

The recent tournament, which was hosted by Woods for his charity works, was held at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California.
