Tiger Woods had a 72 after the second round of the 2012 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club on Friday, August 3, 2012, in Akron, Ohio.

Woods, a seven-time winner at Firestone, is now 13 shots behind Jim Furyk, according to a report at PGA.com.

Reports say that in his 11 Firestone appearances, Woods‘ worst finished was fifth.

Poor putting by Woods contributed to his second round woes. Woods explained that he “was a decent putter over the years, but lately it’s been very streaky. I’m making everything or I make nothing.”

Furyk ended the second round with a 4-under 66 and a two-shot lead over Rafa Cabrera-Bello of Spain.

Rounding up the top five of the 2012 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational leaderboard are Louis Oosthuizen(-8), Jason Dufner(-7) and K.T. Kim(-6).
