Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren are now officially divorced, nine months after Tiger’s car crash outside his Orlando area home and set off shocking revelations about his being an unfaithful husband. This was revealed on the website of the world’s greatest golfer himself – TigerWoods.com.

The divorce was granted in Bay County Circuit Court in Panama City, Florida, some 375 miles away from their Isleworth home. Their documents did not reveal any details about the split and the terms of the financial settlement but estimates range from $100 million to $750 million.

The petition indicated that the marriage was “irretrevably broken” and that Elin Maria Pernilla Nordegren requested to have her maiden name restored.

“We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future,” Tiger and Elin said in a joint statement released by their attorneys. “While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us.”

It can be remembered at Woods put his golf career on hold while he was attending a “sex rehab” for almost two months in a Mississippi clinic. Then on February, he held a 14-minute press conference to publicly apologize for his misbehavior.

Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren were married in October 2004 in Barbados. They have a 3-year-old daughter, Sam, and a 19-month-old son, Charlie. The two will reportedly “share parenting” of both kids.
