Thousands Line-up in NSW Australia for the Biggest New Year’s Eve Celebration in the World

As of this morning, thousands of revelers are setting-up along the harbour foreshore in New South Wales, Australia for the biggest New Year’s Eve celebration in the world. This was reported by NSW media news, December 31, 2010.

Carlene York, NSW Police Assistant Commissioner reminded revelers to “…know their limits and take personal responsibility and look after mates.” The New Year’s Eve Celebration is bound to be the biggest so far in terms of the preparation, fireworks display and the number of visitors expected.

New South Wales is expecting more than 1.5 million visitors which would flock to the harbour and along the other venues which would give them a clear view of the skies and the fascinating fireworks during New Year’s Eve celebration.

Sydney, alongside with Adelaide and other neighboring regions in Australia, have been preparing for this monumental event. Thousands of people are already lining up for the Opera House, to occupy a good vantage point for the celebration. The primary fireworks will come from the Harbour Bridge at exactly  12 midnight on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2010.

They also have a photo competition about Sydney’s New Year’s Eve celebrations at People are invited to capture their greatest photos and send them as entries.

All around NSW, people can view this biggest New Year’s Eve celebration through the Internet and through television. The New Year countdown time can be seen at  timeanddatecom.
