Manila, Philippines – Kedebon Colim was eliminated from The X Factor Philippines on Sunday, September 16, 2012, which was held live at the PAGCOR Grand Theater in Paranaque City, a week after Joan Da was eliminated and Allen Sta. Maria landed on the Bottom 2.

As featured at ABS-CBN Channel 2 on Sunday night, Kedebon Colim was voted out while Daddy’s Home landed on the Bottom 2, a day after the Top 6 finalists competed and rendered their own version of hits from the famous 90s local bands Eraserheads and Rivermaya.
After the opening performance of the Top 6 finalists on Sunday night, show host KC Concepcion announced the names of the four finalists who were ‘safe,’ They are Allen Sta. Maria, Gabriel Maturan, Jeric Medina, and KZ Tandingan, who is being considered to have a big chance to win the first X Factor Philippines title.
During the showdown, Kedebon Colim, who landed on the on Bottom 2 for the first time, performed Enrique Iglesia‘s “Hero,” while the group Daddy’s Home sang Stevie Wonder‘s “Lately.” This was their second time to be in the Bottom 2, with the first one during the Top 10 elimination night when they won against AKA Jam.
On the last part, three of the four judges voted Kedebon to be sent home, including Pilita Corales, Gary Valenciano, and Martin Nievera, Kedebon‘s mentor. Charice Pempengco did not need to vote since the rule of majority vote is being followed.
