A star-studded concert as part of Queen Elizabeth II‘s Diamond Jubilee celebration will be held on Monday, June 4, 2012, 7:30pm BST. The concert, titled “The Diamond Jubilee Concert” will be held on a stage built around the Queen Victoria Memorial in front of the Buckingham Palace.

According to BBC‘s webpage dedicated for the concert, stars from the last sixty years of rock, pop and classical music will perform. Performers include some of the biggest names in music such as Elton John, Tom Jones, Annie Lennox, Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder among others. The concert will be held in the presence of the Queen and the Royal family.

The concert organizers promise hit songs and show stopping performances. Hosts include Lenny Henry, Rob Brydon, Miranda Hart and Lee Mack.

Before the concert starts, guests will have the opportunity to explore the garden and enjoy a Jubilee picnic, reports said.
