Team USA basketball 2012 will be going back to the basics when they meet Argentina on Monday night, August 6, 2012 at the London 2012 Olympics, according to a report at NBA.com.
The American team composed of NBA players will wrap up its qualifying round against the Argentinians.
Some of the Team USA players admitted that they were caught slightly off guard by Lithuania in their game last Saturday, August 4.
A gritty Lithuanian team had the Americans on the ropes until a late game surge by LeBron James gave Team USA a five-point victory.
Team USA has now won four straight games and stayed unbeaten in the 2012 London Olympics.
US basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski is reportedly expecting Kobe Bryant to come out on Monday’s game. In his 20 minutes appearance against Lithuania, Bryant only had six points, two rebounds, an assist and three fouls.
Argentina, with a 3-1 record, will rely on NBA players Luis Scola and Manu Ginobili in their quest to beat Team USA.
