Taylor Swift Won The BMI Country Songwriter Of The Year and Country Song Awards

The pop sensation singer-songwriter Taylor Swift was named country songwriter of the year at the BMI Country Awards held in Nasville on Tuesday.

According to entertainment news, she’s the youngest person to win the award at age 20. She also won country song of the year with co-writer Liz Rose for “You Belong With Me“, becoming the first songwriter to win in that category three years consecutively.

Taylor Swift won the award based on her recordings of “White Horse“, “Fifteen“, “You Belong With Me” and also the track “Best Days Of Your Life” which was recorded by Kellie Picker.

The young pop singer-songwriter was also nominated for Female Vocalist Of The Year for the CMA Awards on Wednesday night, November 10. Reports said that she will perform at the awards night and will sing her ballad “Back to December” from her chart-topping album Speak Now.
