The 10th Annual CMT Music Awards night was held on Wednesday night at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee and was hosted by Kid Rock, his second time for two consecutive years.

As announced on the show, Taylor Swift won the ‘Video of the Year” award for her “Mine” music video but was not present to receive her award and is currently on her music tour.

Nevertheless, the 21-year old singer thanked her fans via satellite, as a pre-taped segment featuring her and Shania Twain opened the show, doing a parody of “Thelma & Louise”.

Incidentally, Shaina Twain fell on the walkway but later said that she was not hurt.

Likewise, another absentee winner is Miranda Lambert, who won the “Female Video of the Year” award for her “The House That Built Me“, as her husband Blake Shelton won two awards.

Shelton, who married Lambert last May 14, 2011, won the “Male Video of the Year” award for “Who Are You When I’m Not Looking” and the “Best Web Video of the Year” award for “Kiss My Country Ass“.

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber won the “Collaborative Video of the Year” award for the music video featuring Rascal Flatts, “That Should Be Me”, and incidentally the first CMT award for the 17-year old Canadian pop idol.
