Palm Sunday 2011: Holy Week Begins, Actual Crucifixion Scheduled in Pampanga

Palm Sunday is the beginning of Holy Week, which Catholics all over the world observe. An actual crucifixion – Kalbaryo (Calvary) is scheduled to happen on Friday, April 22, 2011 at San Pedro Cutud in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines. The Via Crucis (Way of the Cross) is re-enacted with the participants in complete costumes.
