It was reported this Saturday May 14, 2011, on various leading news sources that Suzanne Mubarak, wife of ousted Egyptian leader Hosni Mubarak, is suffering from severe chest pains and is now under intensive care.

Furthermore, reports allegedly claim that she had been admitted to the hospital immediately upon hearing the news that she had been arrested over corruption claims.

Consequently, as documented, the director of the hospital in the Red Sea resort community of Sharm el-Sheikh, said Suzanne Mubarak had a heart problem and was in an unstable condition.

It was assumed through series of related reports that the detention order came a day after Suzanne Mubarak, 70-year-old former first lady, was initially questioned as she was accused of taking advantage of her husband’s position to enrich her financial status.

Reports, through a security official, also confirm that Mrs. Mubarak would remain in the hospital for the time being but anticipated to be moved to a women’s prison in Cairo.
