Susan Sarandon reportedly had a casting couch experience during the early part of her career. The revelation was made by the 66-year-old actress to Elle fashion magazine.
Explaining her casting couch experience, Sarandon reportedly said that “It was not successful – for either of us. I just went into a room, and a guy practically threw me on the desk. It was my early days in New York, and it was really disgusting. It wasn’t like I gave it a second though, it was so badly done.”
Reports say that Sarandon first auditioned, for the 1970 film Joe, when she was 23-years-old.
In 1995, Sarandon won the Best Actress Academy Award for her role as Sister Helen Prejean in movie Dead Man Walking.
The Oscar winner Sarandon is reportedly in the starring role of the upcoming movie, Cloud Atlas. The movie, based on the 2004 novel by British author David Mitchell, set to be shown on October 26, 2012 include celebrity stars Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugo Weaving, and Hugh Grant.
