Susan Boyle has finally reached her long time dream, to sing for the Pope.

The “Britain’s Got Talent” sang her winning piece “I Dreamed a Dream” for Pope Benedict XVI, upon his visit in Glasgow, Scotland on September 16, Thursday.

Boyle, who is dressed in a black coat and heels, performed at Bellahouston Park in front of 65,000 people; most of them waving blue Papal flags, as the Pope arrives.

Joined by an 800-strong choir, the 49-year old British singing sensation also sang traditional hymns How Great Thou Art and Make Me A Channel Of Your Peace.

Her performance served as an opening act before the open-air mass of Pope Benedict XVI.

“It’s a great honor to sing for the pope and it’s something I’ve always dreamed of,” Boyle said before the performance.
