Susan Boyle and Rihanna lead the Top 100 Album and Single for UK Chart

Susan Boyle and Rihanna lead the list of Top 100 UK Album and Single Chart for this week, according to The Official Charts.

Former Britain’s Got Talent contestant Susan Boyle’s Christmas-themed album, ‘The Gift’, is now on top of the list of the Top 100 Albums in the UK chart.

Boyle, the 49-year-old Scottish singing sensation who recently sang for the Pope, jumped to the number one slot with her second album, ‘The Gift’ that had sold about 103,000 copies on its first week.

She beat Bon Jovi’s ‘Greatest Hits’ album, which was also number two last week, while last week’s top album, ‘Messy Little Raindrops’ by Cheryl Cole landed on the third spot.

Meanwhile, Rihanna’s single, Only Girl (In The World) remained its number one spot in the Top 100 Singles in the UK chart, for two consecutive weeks.

It was followed by ‘The Flood’, the newly released single of Robbie Williams’ reunited band Take That from their album, Progress, while Katy Perry’s ‘Firework’ landed on the third slot.
