The ‘American Idol‘ judge was among a handful of invitees who were extended invitations to be present in the building for the big game. The guest list was composed of over 100 people with various backgrounds including the elected leaders from Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, the home states of the teams competing in Super Bowl XLV, as well as Attorney General Eric Holder, and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.

Lopez, who began her career on television show ‘In Living Color‘ as a dancer, said she is not sure why she was invited by the president. In an interview with Extra, she said, “I don’t know. Maybe that’s why I don’t want to talk about it. I don’t even feel like it’s real.”
