Supatra “Nat” Sasuphan is an eleven-year old girl from Thailand who was said to have set the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s hairiest girl.

According to Fox News, Sasuphan has a rare genetic condition called Ambras Syndrome or was branded before as “werewolves syndrome” which was actually caused by a faulty chromosome.

The 11-year-old girl was used to be teased about her looks at school and being called as monkey face, but after she was officially recognized as the world’s hairiest girl it has helped her become famous, international news reported.

“There were a few people who used to tease me, and call me monkey face, but they don’t do it anymore,” Supatra said. “I’m very happy to be in the Guinness World Records! A lot of people have to do a lot to get in. All I did was answer a few questions and then they gave it to me,” she added.

Sasuphan‘s father contacted Guinness World Record to consider his daughter for the title of hairiest child. Sasuphan‘s body hair was then evaluated by Guinness World Record judges using the Ferriman Gallwey method which quantify the amount of hair on different parts of the body specifically in the upper lip, chest, chin, back, abdomen, arm, thigh, forearm and lower leg.

According to Sasuphan‘s father, her daughter has lots of hair on her arms and other parts of her body, but the hairiest part was her face and her back.
