Stone Roses Reunion Concert tickets sold out in less than 15 minutes, third show revealed

The Stone Roses Reunion concert tickets were sold out in less than 15 minutes, which reportedly went on sale last Friday, October 21; and a third show is to be added.

According to The Hollywood Reporter on Sunday, around 150,000 tickets for the Stone Roses Reunion concert were all sold in just 14 minutes when it went on sale on Friday morning.

As noted in the report, the result of the ticket sales concert promoters to add a third show on on July 1. Daily Mail revealed that a total of 225,000 tickets have been sold for the three shows.

Stone Roses, along with band members John Squire, Mani, Ian Brown and Reni announced last Tuesday that they will have two reunion shows on June 29 and 30, 2012 at Heaton Park, Manchester.

Apparently, the Stone Roses decided to have a reunion concert after the band disbanded in 1996, with drummer Alan “Reni” Wren leaving the band in 1995 and John Squire in 1996.

Stone Roses is the famous UK alternative rock band known for their 1989 album “The Stone Roses” which include hit songs such as “I Wanna Be Adored”, “She Bangs The Drums” and “Made of Stone“.
