Steven Spielberg: Inkpot Awardee, Announces Plans for Jurassic Park 4, Talks about New Movie, Tintin, at Comic-Con 2011

Steven Spielberg was awarded the Comic-Con Inkpot Award for lifetime achievement during the Comic-Con 2011 in San Diego, as reported by entertainment sites, July 22, 2011.

Further reports stated that he has also announced their plans for Jurassic Park 4; that they hope to do the film within 2 to 3 years, and that they have hired a writer for the story.

He also promoted his new film, “The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn”, which is a 3- D film based on a “motion-capture” technology about a teenage journalist.

Steven Spielberg was greeted with a standing ovation when he received his award. He thanked fans saying, “I’ve been a kid all my life.”

Reportedly, footage collection was shown of Spielberg’s upcoming film, Tintin, and fans were impressed because it has Spielberg’s mark, like his sophisticated special effects in the Jurassic Park films.

The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn” is set to be shown in the US on December 23, 2011.
