An image of Steve Jobs is now in a so-called new Apple logo, and is now going viral on Twitter, as shown in the photo here, less than a day after the Apple co-founder passed away at the age of 56.

“The new Apple logo. #ThankYouSteve #IsadIconix Brand Group Social Media Manager Cory Cole (@CoryCole) tweeted a few hours after the former Apple CEO passed away.

Mr. Cole added an image of the white Apple logo with a dark background, with the ‘bite’ on the right side depicting the shadow image of Steve Jobs wearing his eyeglasses, facing sideway.

As of this writing, tons of sites and blogs have continuously reporting the loss of Steve Jobs, as well as messages from personalities including President Obama and Apple’s rival, Samsung.

In addition, some Steve Jobs quotes which he said on interviews and conferences are now being circulated in the Internet to honor his name and legacy.

Meanwhile, there is now a big question on what will happen to Apple without Steve Jobs; especially that some iPhone fans were not pleased when the iPhone 4S was unveiled but iPhone 5 was not mentioned.

Updated (October 7, 2011): The original source of the image was said to be Jonathan Mak Long, a 19-year old self-proclaimed designer, photographer, and currently living in Hong Kong.
