Steel Magnolia, made up of Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones, has released their self-titled debut album under Big Machine Records on January 11, 2011 or 1/1/11, according to international news sites.

The US-based duo Steel Magnolia, who sings country music, became an instant hit when they won in the CMT‘s TV talent show ‘Can You Duet’ in 2009.

The self-titled released album of Steel Magnolia will feature their top 10 hit entitled ‘Keep On Lovin’ You’. The album also include ‘Just by Being You (Halos and Wings)’ and ‘Last Night Again.’

In an interview with ABC News, the duo thanked their record company and producers who made it possible for them to come up with the released album. “We had the best musicians, and we are so grateful. Everybody just came together to really make a special project, and we’re just really grateful to have it be finally coming out,” Joshua told ABC News.

Linsey on the other hand, expressed her ‘cohesive’ feeling on the sound of Steel Magnolia. According to Linsey, they “wanted to make a record that had a little something for everybody and still kept the Steel Magnolia sound and was cohesive altogether. So, I feel like we accomplished that.”

Steel Magnolia has been added to the lineup of Country Radio Seminar‘s (CRS) New Faces of Country Music Show on March 4, 2010 in Nashville. The duo will join other country music performers such as:  The Band Perry, Lee Brice, Jerrod Niemann and Josh Thompson.
