SoundBite is an update in technology that millions of deaf people around the globe would definitely need. The new hearing aid that uses the teeth to transmit sounds has been approved for use. The Royal National Institute for Deaf People or RNID; however, stated that it is not for everyone. This was reported by health news sites, March 26, 2011.

SoundBite will be used in UK primarily and its future popularity will depend upon the response of users to this new technology.

Aside from the traditional hearing aid, this device will provide a wider range of selection for patients with hearing problems.  If SoundBite will be widely accepted by UK users, then there will be millions around the world who would benefit from it.
