Sohaib Athar Unknowingly Liveblogged The Osama Bin Laden Raid in Abbottabad, Pakistan

Sohaib Athar, a Pakistani IT consultant unknowingly live-blogged the Osama Bin Laden raid on his Twitter account, @reallyvirtual, several international news sites reported today. Athar, according to him, is “an IT consultant taking a break from the rat-race by hiding in the mountains with his laptops.”

Athar happened to be in Abbottabad, Pakistan when the raid happened. According to him, he is just about 2 to 3 kilometers away from the incident. He saw the helicopters hovering over at Abbottabad and tweeted: Helicopter hovering above Abbottabad at 1AM (is a rare event).
