Snowmobiles Recall: Arctic Cat Inc. Recalls About 16,500 Snowmobiles

Arctic Cat Inc. and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on Wednesday that they are voluntarily recalling about 16,500 snowmobiles.

The Arctic Cat recall reportedly prompted because of the front lower suspension arm of the snowmobiles that may crack while being used. Reports said that this issue could possibly lead to loss of control.

According to reports, Arctic Cat has received 13 reports related to suspension arm cracking. However, no injuries or accidents have been reported to them.

In this connection, Arctic Cat urges consumers to immediately stop using those snowmobiles for safety reasons.

The snowmobiles being recalled involve all 2010 Arctic Cat Z1, TZ1, F, Bearcat, M, and CF model.

The company said that consumers may contact their local Arctic Cat delear for a free repair.
