Snow and Ice Sculpture Festival in Bruges starts November 26, 2010

The annual Snow and Ice Sculpture Festival in Bruges, Belgium will start Friday, November 26, 2010, according to international news sites. The Festival will be open to the public from November 26, 2010 until January 16, 2011, every day from 10 AM to 7 PM, including Christmas and New Years‘ day.

There are 30 international artists who will display their works in this years festival. The world’s most famous landmarks and music icons have been carved in ice by these artists. Some of the figures included on display are:

  • The Big Ben
  • Comic image of Cuba
  • Elvis Presley
  • Madonna
  • Michael Jackson

The Sculpture Festival can be seen in front of the Central Railway station in Bruges.
