Ralcorp Frozen Bakery Products, Inc. in Downers Grove Illinois recalls its Snickerdoodles cookies because of undeclared whey or milk content which may cause “life threatening allergic reactions.” This is according to the Food and Drugs (FDA) website, May 6, 2011.  The FDA made it clear though that it is not endorsing any of the products of the company but just issuing a warning because of the nationwide distribution of the product.

The Target Market Pantry Snickerdoodles cookies with these lot numbers could be returned where they were bought and so they could be refunded.

Code Numbers:

Consumers can call Ralcorp at 1-888-421-4699 for their questions or they may call the Target Guest Relations at 1-800-316-6151.

There are no reported cases yet, but Ralcorp wants to ensure that people with milk allergies would not be compromised with its Snickerdoodles cookies; hence, the recall.
