Skype for iPhone with Video calling now available at iTunes for free

Skype for iPhone with Video calling is now available at iTunes for free, according to their announcement on Thursday.

As published on Skype’s official blog, Skype users can now enjoy free video calls on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, and works for both WiFi and 3G connections, although the latter may require some additional charges.

This latest Skype iPhone app, which is now available at iTunes for free, promises users an easier way to share moment with everyone, wherever they are.

According to Skype, users can now make video calls on their computers, as well as iPhones, and is compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPod touch 4th generation with i0S 4.0 or above.

In addition, free audio calls to anyone else via Skype are also available, as well as calls to landline and mobile phones worldwide.

Skype users can also receive video calls on the iPod touch 3rd generation and iPad, which is possible between devices using the new Skype for iPhone app and desktops.

This includes Skype for Mac 2.8 and above, Skype for Windows 4.2 and above, Skype for Linux and the ASUS videophone.
