Skype 5 Beta with Facebook integration now available (Video)

Skype 5 Beta with Facebook integration is now available for download, according to Facebook and Skype on their websites on October 14, Thursday.

Facebook and Skype have joined forces to provide users enjoy both world of social networking and group video calling.

The Skype 5 Beta version now includes Facebook‘s news feed and phonebook into Skype, which means that Skype users can call their Facebook friends directly on mobile or landline phones.

They can even send SMS messages or make free Skype-to-Skype calls to Facebook friends, but should also be users of Skype users, both companies announced.

In addition, Skype users can also post statues updates to Facebook that can be synched with Skype “mood” messages, as well as leave comments on their Facebook friends’ updates and wall posts.

And since the Skype 5 is still in Beta version, the group video calling is still free, while the price has not yet been mentioned when the final version is released.
