Six planets, namely Mars, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, Uranus and Neptune, can be seen aligned at dawn above the rising sun for the next few weeks, several science news sites reported on Thursday.

According to reports, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Mercury are visible to the naked eye, while Uranus and Neptune can be seen thru binoculars or a small telescope.

Venus is said to be the brightest among the visible planets. To find the other planets, it is recommended to use it as a guide. Jupiter can be seen about halfway between Venus and the rising sun. It is said to be the second brightest planet.

Just above Jupiter is Mars, and Mercury is said to be a tiny speck about halfway between Jupiter and Venus. Meanwhile, Uranus is said to be slightly more than one binocular field above and to the right of Venus and Neptune is much farther to the right, approximately 40 degrees away in Aquarius.
