Simon Cowell to find a role for Mariah Carey on The X Factor, Paula Adbul as judge

Simon Cowell is now being set to find a role for Mariah Carey on the upcoming talent show in the US, The X Factor, which be launched next month with Paula Adbul to be among the judges.

According to People on Sunday, August 07, 2011, Simon Cowell said that he is willing to give into the demands of Mariah Carey, who wanted to be a part of X Factor from its first day.

You can’t say no to Mariah,” Simon Cowell was quoted at People. “We have to find a role for her. I’m a huge fan of hers – not just as an artist, but as a person, and I love her to death.”

As noted at entertainment news sites, Cowell didn’t get Mariah Carey to be among the judges of “X Factor” because she got pregnant instead and gave birth to twin babies last April.

Nevertheless, Cowell noted that the pop diva may still be involved in the said show that would involve working with the contestants, while his fellow judges include L.A. Reid and Nicole Scherzinger.

Meanwhile, Paula Adbul will also be judge at X Factor judge and told reports, “It’s nice to be back in a demented relationship”, who will be reuniting with Simon Cowell since their American Idol days.

On the other hand, the earlier reported $5-million Sony recording contract grand prize was changed to $5-million cash in addition to the Sony recording contract and a Pepsi ad feature during the Super Bowl.

The X Factor will be launched at Fox on September 21 and 22, which Simon clarified that it will be “a completely different show” from American Idol.
