Sheen Gives $75K To Kid To Help Her Fight CancerBy Marhgil Macuha on Dec 12, 2012 in Entertainment, Hollywood •
Charlie Sheen recently gave a kid $75,000 to help her fight cancer, celebrity news sites and blogs reported on Tuesday, December 11, 2012.
According to reports, Sheen was talking with a Hermosa Beach, California cop when he learned about another cop whose 10-year-old daughter, Jasmine Faulk, was diagnosed with Childhood Rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer of the muscle tissue. Reports said that such cancer requires more than a year of chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
“No parent should have to watch their kid go through that,” Sheen reportedly said. He cut a check worth $75k the next day for the Hermosa Beach Police Station to help Jasmine. The said police station started a fund drive for Jasmine.
Meanwhile, Sheen‘s stunt double, Eddie Braun, followed him and gave an additional $25,000, an act which others say is more impressive since he does not make as much money as Sheen.
The family is extremely grateful for the donation, reports said.
