Shannen Doherty made a 911 call in an attempt to save a fan, according to a TMZ report on Sunday, December 9, 2012. Doherty’s 911 call, recorded last November, reportedly expressed her concern to a 911 operator.

The TMZ report say that Doherty, who lives in Los Angeles, made a cross-country call and was able to contact an emergency dispatcher in Westampton, New Jersey.

Reports say that the 911 audio call by the “Bevery Hills 90120” star has gone viral and is now a trending topic on major search engine sites that include Yahoo and Google.

In her conversation with the 911 operator, Doherty said that “This is going to sound incredibly strange cause it does to me as well.My name is Shannon Doherty and I’m an actress and there is a girl who is threatening to shoot herself.”

Doherty further explained the situation to the emergency dispatcher. She told the 911 operator that she is “completely untrained to deal with somebody threatening suicide. It’s been an undoing thing and my security guys told me to block her, because she’s aggressive and does very erratic things…. I felt bad for her to be honest.”
