Twain, who did parody of Thelma & Louise with Taylor Swift in a pre-taped opening for the show, slipped while approaching the stage of the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Apparently, she was about to present the “Male Video of the Year” award to Blake Shelton when she stumbled but quickly recovered and laughed; and seemed to be unhurt.

After the show, she posted a video on her official website and laughed about the incident, calling it as one of her life’s most embarrassing moments and made a fool of herself.

“I didn’t hurt myself but I have a bit of a sore thumb – that’s about it.” The 45-year old “You’re Still The One” singer on the video.

“I’m going to auction off those shoes and get rid of them as soon as I can! I never want to see those shoes again… Or maybe I’ll keep them as a souvenir…” Twain added.

Earlier, Shania Twain confirmed on her official website that she will start a two-year residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas next year.
