Scotty McCreery’s, “I Love You This Big” Debuted No. 32 on Billboards Nielsen Hot Country Songs, New Artist’s Highest Debut Since 1990

American Idol winner, Scotty McCreery’s, “I Love You This Big” debuted No. 32 on the Billboards Nielsen Hot Country Songs and has been the highest debut entry of a new artist since 1990. This was disclosed by US entertainment sites, June 2, 2011.

McCreery, 17, was the youngest winner of American Idol with Lauren Alaina coming in second.

McCreery’s “I Love You This Big,” also topped the iTunes and is No. 3 on Billboard’s Digital Songs and on the Country Chart.

On June 15, Scotty McCreery will be with “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and in “Good Morning America” on August 12.

He will also be participating with the rest of the American Idol contestants in a live tour starting July6.

Reportedly, Scotty McCreery was “shocked and humbled” at the success of his first single in the billboard charts.
